Just like her name, this home was a classic of the mid century modern era - beautiful, character filled, and ready for a well deserved facelift.

Originally believed to have been designed by an architect and an artist, the home carried a creative spirit that we were careful to honour. Our update is a thoughtful, respectful continuation of its mid century story: fresh greens, rich textures, warm timbers, and brass fixtures throughout.

We preserved all the original angles and quirks that made the home so intriguing, highlighting them with strategically placed wall lights. The kitchen remained in its original semi-enclosed layout which is a rare choice today, but one that still suits the home perfectly. We added a new hidden butler's pantry for extra storage.

Upstairs, we reconfigured the loft bedroom to maximise flexibility and create a more functional layout. Apart from one additional ensuite and bedroom, the remaining bathrooms and powder room retained their original footprints, maintaining the integrity of the home's design while feeling renewed and elevated.
